About the Center

City Center one shopping center located in Zagreb Jankomir area and built by Center one group investors has opened its' doors on October 12th 2006. Worth of investment in City Center one Jankomir project was more than 100 million Euros and it makes Croatia's third largest investment in 2006. Center has Croatian management lead by company CC Real d.o.o. k.d.

City Center one was first classical two floor shopping mall in Croatia. Due to high interest in lease and great business results in 2008 City Center one started building additional lease surfaces. On April 16th 2009 grand opening City Center one had 42 new stores, and it was 36.000 square meters bigger than before, with 2100 parking spaces in total. Now, on 100.000 square meters of gross surfaces there are almost 130 stores, bars, restaurants and additional contents, along with management and maintenance office. City Center one customers have 2100 parking spaces at disposal, located in three floors of above and underground garage, and on parking lot in front of the Center. Center also has a special garage for employees.

Additional 40 million Euros was invested in Center adaptation, so the total investment amount is now 140 million Euros, which makes it one of leading investments in this business branch in Croatia. Center employs more than 1700 people from Zagreb and its suburbs.

City Center one has two floors, with elevators and escalators, and it is adapted for disabled people and children. Center is custom made according to town planning, and alike other shopping malls it has vivid signs and colors on the front so it appears 'alive' during the day and the night. Other distinctive feature of the Center is a big glass roof that ensures enough daylight and makes people comfortable while they are inside of it. Wide hallways and bright surfaces of the Center with transparent glass surfaces make the building very clear and easy for people to find their way in it. Innovative architecture solution was signed by architect Otto Barić, project manager Igor Dombi, and Croatian construction company Stipić Grupa.

Along with wide world and Croatian brands offer, City Center one is a place of fun and socializing. Central surface in the middle of Center's ground floor that is viewable from the gallery on the first floor is often a place of amusing events. In City Center one you can always have fun, or even meet Croatian celebrities. For the little ones there are two playrooms - one2play on the ground floor of the Center, and large Kid's Jungle playroom on the first floor of the Center. In specially designed playrooms children can find innovative parties, educative workshops, lots of surprises and interesting programs.

In the Center there is a large Interspar hypermarket. Also City Center one was the first shopping center in Croatia thathas offered its' customers known German brands like C&A and Peek&Cloppenburg, Humanic shoe retailer, News Yorker for young people and Hervis - sport goods chain. In the Center, along with other brands you can find Müller and dm drug stores and Douglas perfumery. Along with foreign brands, in City Center one offer customers can find Croatian brands like Varteks, Peko and Iris with various labels. To make the styling complete there are accessories stores like Marli watches, Swarovski, Accessories, Six, Scessorize, Guess Accessories store, Dodić jewelry and many others. For haute couture lovers there is Marella mono brand store, Guess jeans, Lacoste, s.Oliver Selection, McNeal, and sensual underwear Palmers, Yamamay and Goldenpoint. City Center one became home for popular Swedish brand H&M, and Canadian shoes and accessories Aldo brand store.

City Center one is one of most visited shopping centers in Croatia. Yearly around 7,3 million people visits the Center, which is almost two time of Croatian population.

The Center is located in west part of town, on very busy location along the Ljubljanska avenija (avenue). Also the Center is easy to be reached from all parts of the town, by car, or by public transportation - bus lines 116, 107 and 168; tram lines 5 and 17 (to Prečko turning point).
